PsychoToxin Eye Tales are standalone short stories.

At PTP, we are first and foremost lovers of great stories. Though our preferences lean toward dark and gory works of horror, we do not reject works from other genres outright. If you have a fantastic story that meets our theme, we’d love to see it!

SIMULTANEOUS SUBMISSIONS

-Please no Simultaneous Submissions.
-We strive to respond to all submissions as soon as possible.

MULTIPLE SUBMISSIONS

-Writers may submit up to three stories for consideration. 

-Please submit one story per e-mail.

-If you receive a rejection, please do not resubmit that story unless invited to by the Eye Tales Librarian.

REPRINTS

-We accept reprints provided the rights have returned to you (the author). 

-If your story is a reprint, please include the location and date of original publication.

FORMATTING GUIDELINES

While Modern Shunn Format is preferred, the minimum formatting standard is as follows:

Each story should have the author’s legal name, author’s e-mail address, and story word count in the upper left corner. 

Below that, centered in all caps should be the story title, with the author’s byline (name they wish to publish under) as the next line.

After the name and by-line, put the text of the story. Use indentations rather than tabs for new paragraphs, and put a # at scene breaks. Please set the story to double spaced, and use a common font (Times New Roman is preferred). 

Please name your file: “Eye Tales-(Story Name)-(Author Last Name)”

PAYMENT
Authors will receive $0.50 per direct sale (Amazon or other) paid quarterly.
Authors also receive a proportional cut of the monthly PTP Digital Library revenue.
